Terms of Service

Last updated 13 October 2026

These terms govern your use of Bullseye. The short version: your content is yours and we do not train AI models on it; Bullseye is a research tool, not a lawyer, so check its answers against the sources it cites; and use it fairly.

1.The Service, and what it is not

Bullseye is an AI legal research service for Indian law. It answers questions from official legal sources, cites the documents it relies on, and reviews, compares and drafts Word documents. You can use it in the Bullseye app at chat.bullseye.li, connect it to other AI assistants, and read this website (together, the Service).

The Service is a research tool. Its output is not legal advice. Bullseye is not a law firm, does not practise law, and no lawyer-client relationship is formed by using it. Answers are generated by AI models and can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, even when they cite a source. Check every answer against the documents it cites, and against your own professional judgment, before you rely on it or advise anyone on it.

The official sources Bullseye covers are listed on the Sources page. Coverage is not complete for every source or date range, and an official source can be amended, withdrawn or superseded after Bullseye indexed it.

2.These Terms

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Beam Enterprises, which operates Bullseye (Bullseye, we, us). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them. If you use the Service for an organisation, you accept them on its behalf and confirm you are authorised to do so; "you" then means both you and that organisation.

Where your organisation has signed a separate agreement with us (an order form, master services agreement or data processing agreement), that agreement prevails over these Terms where the two conflict. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3.Accounts and access

You sign in with Google, Microsoft or an email address. Keep your account details accurate and your sign-in, and any access token you create to connect another AI assistant, to yourself: each account and token is for one person and must not be shared. You are responsible for what is done through your account and your tokens. Tell us at once at support@bullseye.li if you think either has been misused, and revoke a token you no longer need.

On an organisation plan, the organisation's administrators can add and remove members, assign seats, and see the organisation's usage and billing. Chats, matters and knowledge bases you share with colleagues are visible to the people you share them with.

4.Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to help anyone else to:

  • use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful, or in breach of any professional obligation that binds you;
  • copy, scrape, bulk-download or systematically extract the Service's knowledge base, indexes or outputs, including to build or train a competing product or dataset;
  • get around usage limits, budgets, access controls or security measures, or access the Service other than through the Bullseye app, the connections we offer for AI assistants, and any API we provide you;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or probe the Service for vulnerabilities, except as the law allows despite this restriction or with our written permission;
  • upload malware, or content you do not have the right to share with us;
  • resell, sublicense or make the Service available to anyone outside your account or organisation.

Do not submit payment card numbers, government identifiers such as Aadhaar or PAN, health data or other sensitive personal data unless it is necessary for your work and you have a lawful basis to share it with us.

5.Your content

Your content means what you put into the Service (questions, instructions, uploaded files, saved preferences and memories) and what the Service produces for you (answers, comments, redlines and generated documents). As between you and us, you own your content. Another user may receive similar output to yours; that output is theirs, not yours.

You give us a limited licence to host, copy, process and transmit your content only as needed to provide and support the Service for you, to keep it secure, and to comply with the law. That includes sending it to the AI model and document-processing providers described in our Privacy Policy so they can produce a response.

We do not use your content to train or fine-tune AI models. We look at your content only where that is needed to give you support you asked for, to investigate a fault, abuse or security issue, or to comply with the law.

You are responsible for your content and for having the rights and permissions needed to submit it, including any confidentiality duty you owe a client or employer.

6.Our property

The Service, including its software, design, the knowledge base we build from public legal sources (our collection, indexes, metadata and summaries), and the Bullseye name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors. These Terms give you the right to use the Service during your subscription and nothing more. The underlying public legal documents remain public; our compilation of them does not.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

7.Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, such as cloud hosting, AI models and payments, described in our Privacy Policy. When you connect Bullseye to another AI assistant, that assistant's own terms govern what it does with the answers Bullseye returns to it. Links to official sources and other websites take you to sites we do not control.

8.Plans, fees and payment

Plans and prices are shown on our pricing page, in Indian rupees, plus any applicable taxes such as GST. Fees are charged in advance for each billing period through our billing provider, and paid through its payment processor; we do not see or store your card or bank details.

  • Monthly plans renew automatically at the end of each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for.
  • Enterprise plans are billed annually, on the terms of your order.
  • Each plan includes a usage allowance. When it is used up, the Service may pause until the next billing period unless you move to a higher plan.
  • Fees already paid are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund or we agree to one in writing.
  • We may change prices for future billing periods. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before it does.

If a payment fails, we may suspend the Service until it is made.

9.Confidentiality and security

We treat your content as confidential. Only the people who operate and support the Service can access it, and only for the purposes in "Your content". We protect it with technical and organisational measures appropriate to its sensitivity, including encryption in transit and at rest, and we store it in India. The Privacy Policy describes these measures, where your data is processed, and how long it is kept.

10.Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms, do not pay, or your use puts the Service, other users or the law at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.

When your account ends, your right to use the Service ends. You can ask us to delete your account and content at any time; the Privacy Policy explains what deletion covers and what we must keep. The sections on your content, our property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law continue to apply after termination.

11.Disclaimers

We work to keep the Service accurate and available, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that the Service or its output will be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose, and we disclaim all implied warranties. You remain responsible for decisions you make and advice you give using the Service.

12.Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or data, however caused.

Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow liability to be limited, such as for fraud.

13.Indemnity

You will indemnify us against third-party claims, and the losses and reasonable costs that follow from them, arising from your content or from your use of the Service in breach of these Terms or the law.

14.Changes to the Service and these Terms

We improve the Service continually and may change or retire features. We may update these Terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. We will tell you about a material change by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you continue to use the Service after that, the updated Terms apply; if you do not agree, cancel your subscription.

15.Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute arises, we will first try to settle it by discussion in good faith for 30 days. If it is not settled, the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.

16.General

  • You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer them to a successor to our business.
  • Neither party is liable for a delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, except for payment obligations.
  • If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
  • These Terms, with the Privacy Policy and any order you sign, are the whole agreement between us about the Service.
  • We send notices to the email address on your account; send yours to support@bullseye.li.

17.Contact and grievances

Questions about these Terms, and complaints about the Service or its content, go to our Grievance Officer, Agni Iyer, at agni@bullseye.li. We acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days.
